The Joy of Learning–Introduction

I’d like to delve into the idea of researching the joy of learning. Learning is enjoyable, coming from personal experience. I want to find out why it’s enjoyable. Some people may not find it as enjoyable as others but there’s definitely something about learning. Even the simple fact of striving for excellence and the feeling of accomplishing something after you worked diligently on a subject, can feel extremely rewarding. It makes you want to keep going and see what else you’re capable of as a human being. I think a lot of us surprise ourselves with what we can accomplish. For example, my biggest accomplishment would have to be starting at Math 10 and working my way up to Math 111. In looking back, I just say wow! It’s crazy to see how far I’ve come. Look at what I’ve learned! This joy of learning and the enjoyability to learn is something that also applies to daily life. Even so much as looking back at a year ago until now, I can honestly say that I have learned a lot. I learn every day. We all do. I’d really like my blog post to be about this topic. It interests me and funny thing is, I’d like to learn about learning! How ironic is that? Learning is fun but don’t get me wrong, it’s not a walk in the park. However, that’s another reason why it’s enjoyable. It’s the challenge. If learning wasn’t a challenge at all it might or might not be as enjoyable. Who knows? I’d like to find out. This is the topic I have picked for my blog post. I really feel that the joy of learning would be a joy in itself, to learn about. This brings the question to the table. What makes learning enjoyable?
